Post Psi-Golem
'm experimenting with making a Psi-Golem, made of a series of constructs. It requires VERY intense strands of programming but I think I'm making progress. It's purpose would be to protect, attack, and follow orders of convenience, such as shielding, perception, etc. I have already formed the battery for it. (a solar panel of sorts, as well as a vampiric feature) I plan on installing every single attack that am capable of, just so I can order it to do ''random thing'' while I do something else for the sake of multi-tasking.

1) Is there anything else I should include
2) has anyone done this before
3) is this likely going to be a success
4) is this going to turn into some crazy 'iROBOT' shit
5) does anyone have any practical advice?

Sounds like you are very ambitious; more power to you. I personally would make sure that it does one thing well before adding a second aspect. After both of them are doing well, I'd add a third, etc. At some point in there, when you have a few options available to your construct, I'd test the multi-tasking. This would (ideally) involve a person who doesn't know which programming bits you've added to your construct. That way, you have feedback without "front-loading".

As to the success or consequences of the critter... I've no idea. Constructs are very much dependent on the creator being skilled in that particular area. The longevity of the construct would have a significant effect on the overall consequences, and both are dependent on the programming.

Good luck, and let us know how you progress with your critter/construct.
